About Me
I have a fantastic husband who tolerates my need for art supplies and space around our home to create. I am a mother to two awesome teenagers while working full time in education. And I am an artist.
I have tried almost every art medium out there. I love creating with acrylic paint, watercolor paint, and mixed media. I keep art journals, paint on canvas, and on paper. I have done everything from jewelry making, lampworking/glass work, ceramics, crochet, knit, painting and many others.
Creating artwork is my self care. I use it to express my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. This comes out in subtle color choices, themes, or anything that is on my mind. I am greatly inspired by nature and the colors around me at all times.
This photo of me to the left was taken in Michigan on one of my favorite trips with my husband. It was one of my favorites because the colors there in early October were stunningly beautiful! He laughed at me as I oohed and aahed the entire time at all the colors. – I couldn’t help myself.
